Protect your investment
A proactive clear coating helps preserve eligible asphalt shingles so you can care for the roof you already paid for.
ClearShield
Roofing
Give your roof more life — without replacing it too soon.
More life for your roof
Your roof protects everything underneath it. Before spending thousands on a full replacement, find out if your existing asphalt shingle roof can benefit from an extra layer of protection.
At ClearShield Roofing, we apply a clear protective coating designed to help preserve eligible asphalt shingles and extend their useful life. It’s a proactive way to care for your roof, protect your investment, and potentially put off the cost of replacement.
What we offer
ClearShield focuses on the roof system as a whole — protective coating, thorough gutter cleaning, and solar panel cleaning for homes with arrays on the roof.
Protective clear coating for eligible asphalt shingles — a proactive way to help extend roof life before a full replacement.
Full gutter service: clear troughs and downspouts, remove leaves and debris, flush clogs, and help stop overflow that stains fascia and softens roof edges.
Soft, panel-safe cleaning for roof-mounted solar arrays — remove dust, pollen, and film so panels can produce closer to their rated output.
Ask about bundling — coating, gutters, and solar cleaning often pair well when we’re already on the roof.
Eligibility
Not every roof needs to be replaced right away. If your shingles are still in reasonably good condition, a protective treatment may be worth considering.
Your roof may be a good fit if the shingles are generally intact and don’t have widespread cracking, severe curling, or missing sections.
Before applying the coating, any leaks, damaged shingles, loose nails, or raised nail heads must be properly addressed. A protective coating is designed for roof maintenance, not to repair leaks or fix a failing roof.
How does the process work?
We start by inspecting your roof to determine whether it’s a suitable candidate for clear protective coating.
We prepare the surface and make any necessary repairs — leaks, damaged shingles, loose nails, or raised nail heads — before coating.
We apply the protective coating according to the product manufacturer’s instructions. When the product calls for it, two coats are applied under suitable weather conditions to help achieve the intended coverage and performance.
